Review: Da Chen (Prospect Park, PA)
Had several visits over the past four months. Among my favorite dishes:
Hot Spicy Noodle, Szechuan Style (with ground pork): As advertised, it's hot and spicy. The pork adds a nice touch, as most other Chinese restaurants serve this dish with either paste or some unidentified glop.
Kung-Bao Chicken: Served with roasted peanuts and chili peppers. That's it. No celery, no baby corn, no red bell pepper, no green pepper, no mushrooms, no water chesnuts. Of course, that means more chicken and nuts than most other places.
Seafood Combination: With [real] lobster, jumbo shrimp, scallops, crab meat and vegetables. Very, very good. Served sizzling.
