Review: Da Chen (Prospect Park, PA)

Went back to Da Chen a week ago. The menu has been revamped, with some Thai entrees added (not too spicy, since DelCo apparently doesn't have quite the palette of Center City). Some regular menu tiems were jazzed up (my favourite Kung Pao Chicken had veggies added). New ownership and a new menu - give it a try.

Review: The American Cafe (Granite Run Mall, Media, PA)

Excellent. Sampled the Jambalaya Pot Pie and the Smoked Chicken Pasta Pie. Portions were huge, so leftovers were in store. Hadn't been to the Cafe in about 14 years (went to one of their since closed Virginia locations in the early 90s) and was pleased not much had changed - except for more food. And they also had Mr. Pibb on the beverages menu.
